Since 2013, it has been an annual event: the publication, on International Women's Day on 8 March, of the Observatory of Equality by the Department of Studies, Forecasting and Statistics (DEPS) of the Ministry of Culture. This Observatory, with nearly 120 tables, provides an annual overview of the place of women in the cultural sector: their share in the cultural professions, professional training, positions of responsibility, but also their access to the means of creation and production, their presence in programming and in the media and the prizes and distinctions awarded to them. All cultural sectors are represented: heritage, artistic creation, entertainment, cinema, audiovisual, video games, multimedia, books, press, media, etc.
