IFACCA is delighted to welcome the Ministerio de Educación y Cultura, Uruguay, as a national member of IFACCA.
The National Directorate of Culture is responsible for cultural development throughout the country, promoting cultural citizenship and the cultural rights of citizens, aiming to eliminate inequality in the exercise of these rights; managin and planning public policy in culture, including national, municipal and local services; creating mechanisms for interaction between public and private; creating mechanisms for training, research and encouraging creativity in the artistic and cultural sector, as well as dissemination and research on Uruguayan cultural heritage.
