The UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development – MONDIACULT is a ministerial forum during which 194 Member States of UNESCO work together to set - and commit to - the global agenda for culture. It is organised by UNESCO and in 2025, it is hosted by the Government of Spain.

MONDIACULT 2025

MONDIACULT 2025 is the most recent UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development, building on the legacy of MONDIACULT 1982 and 2022. The 2025 edition brings together thousands of participants to set the global agenda for culture in the years ahead. With the conclusion of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda in sight, the 2025 UNESCO Conference is a decisive moment to build a consensus and momentum to establish culture as a ‘stand-alone’ goal within the next United Nations development strategy.
