National Lottery funding is helping more people across Scotland find their place in the arts – creating opportunities to take part, share their stories and experience culture without barriers. 

A total of 47 projects are receiving £1,111,001 in funding via the latest round of Creative Scotland's Open Fund. From supporting care-experienced young people to develop their own creative work, to bringing fully accessible theatre to children and young people with disabilities and life-limiting illness, the projects highlight the different ways in which National Lottery funding can help make the arts more equitable. 

Since 2009, Embracing Arts has created free, interactive and sensory theatre for children and young people with a wide range of disabilities and/or life-limiting illnesses.
