In the field of culture, Sweden’s support will help countries strengthen their cultural and creative sectors, improve conditions for artists and ensure that more people can participate in and benefit from cultural life. The partnership will support UNESCO’s work under the 2005 Convention on the Protection and the Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions and the 1980 Recommendation concerning the Status of the Artist.
