The Lithuanian Council for Culture announces the results of the 2026 program "Protection of Copyright and Related Rights." 505,913 euros were allocated for the implementation of 35 projects.
More than 90% of funded projects will be dedicated to strengthening creators' ability to manage copyright and related rights, as well as their ability to gain economic benefits from them. Considerable attention will also be given to raising public awareness and literacy on copyright and related rights protection.
Special attention in the projects is planned for the younger generation – aiming to increase children's and youth's understanding of copyright and related rights, the importance of their protection, and responsible use of creative content.
The majority of projects will be implemented by organizing conferences, seminars, and other educational events. The results of the projects and information related to their implementation will be publicized on social networks and websites, thus reaching as wide an audience as possible.
According to the geographical distribution of applicants, the majority of them were registered in Vilnius. Active applicants were also from other major Lithuanian cities.

Prof. Dr. Grigorijus Potašenko, dancer and teacher Lina Puodžiukaitė-Lanauskienė, historian Prof. Dr. Vasilijus Safronovas, artist and lecturer Arturas Valiauga.
