Nepal’s cultural and creative industries are rich in talent, heritage and entrepreneurial energy, but they still need stronger policy recognition, better coordination and more targeted investment to reach their full potential. These were the central issues discussed at the second meeting of the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) Friends Group (For CCI / सजृनात्मक उद्योगको लागी), convened by UNESCO on 9 June 2026 and hosted by Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
