Now I am stepping down as Director-General of the Swedish Arts Council and am proud and happy about what we have achieved together at the agency during these years for the development and accessibility of culture. Three governments with three ministers of culture have formulated the assignments that we have proudly carried out. I have had the opportunity to meet so many artists, cultural workers, managers and elected representatives. I have been able to take part in Sweden's cultural life – a treasure that cannot be valued in money.
