Over time, cultural policy in the Nordic countries has shifted towards greater emphasis being placed on funding from private-sector sources. At the same time, there are both similarities and differences in the specific policies of each country and in the prevalence of private-sector funding within their respective cultural sectors. This is emphasised in a knowledge overview produced by the Swedish Agency for Cultural Policy Analysis on behalf of the Nordic Council of Ministers.
