Following the adoption of the Framework for Culture and Arts Education at the World Conference on Culture and Arts Education (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, February 2024), UNESCO will be presenting its new practical Implementation Guidance at a high-level event in the framework of the World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development – MONDIACULT 2025, taking place from 29 September to 1 October 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.
This event is drawing on renewed momentum to enhance culture and arts education as a key dimension of inclusive and transformative learning, since the adoption of the Framework. It calls on policymakers and practitioners from all over the world to take ownership of the Framework and translate its principles into concrete policies, strategies, and practices through collaborative and innovative approaches.
