Today, 93% of UNESCO’s reporting Member States recognize culture in their national sustainable development plans. Yet a 2024 survey revealed that 62% of cultural professionals report poor or no protection of their economic and social rights. To address this gap, MONDIACULT 2025 is bringing together over 120 Culture Ministers and representatives from 163 countries in Barcelona to shape the future of cultural policies.
