The Minister of Cultural Affairs, Mrs. Amina Al-Sarrafi, met on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, with a number of directors general of institutions under supervision, general managers and directors at the Ministry to review the progress of a number of projects.
The Minister urged the unification of efforts and cooperation between the various institutions and departments of the Ministry to expedite the resolution of the legal and logistical problems that prevent the progress of these projects.
The Minister of Cultural Affairs called for the review of some legal texts that do not respond to the development of the cultural act in our country and the preparation of appropriate legal texts to be presented to the rest of the parties involved in the field.
During this meeting, the need to think about modern ways of working that show the economic role of culture as an engine of development in the regions and at the national level were also discussed.
On the other hand, the Minister stressed the importance of the Ministry's institutions adopting various technologies that take into account the issue of energy control and working in this context with the concerned institutions. The Minister also called for the launch of a large-scale clean-up campaign for archaeological sites starting from Greater Tunis and to continue later in the regions.
