The National Arts Council (BASATA) have the ultimate objective of reviving and developing works of art and conducting various studies on arts issues in which the arts have been able to be divided into three main sections including Performing Arts, Music and Visual Arts.
The National Arts Council has been able to help register various stakeholders who are engaged in works of art to be able to obtain permits that will help them to make and exhibit their works of art in the community.
Craft Arts
Craft arts are arts that involve the production of various objects using hands, these arts enable people to engage in making things including clothes, handbags, furniture, toys, etc.
Craft arts exist of various types that vary according to how they appear in people's eyes, how they are made or standardized in different appearances and to be able to distinguish them by what they look like; Beauty, embroidery, embroidery, costume design, fashioning, painting, painting, painting, painting, design, shapes, shaving and shaving, cake decorating, event decoration, pottery, viscous photography, sculpture, embroidery, weaving, tailoring and so on.
The Craft Arts Strategy is to ensure that it provides education to arts stakeholders including registration education
to enable these stakeholders to promote their arts in various places and to be able to access commercial opportunities as well as permits. As well as looking for markets to sell their products, these markets including providing education on how to use social media to promote themselves and showcase their products through these networks, as well as organising exhibitions for practitioners of the performing arts such as weaving, weaving, pottery etc.
At the National Arts Council (BASATA) Craft Arts collaborates with the Tanzania Federation of Crafts and Arts (TAFCA), the federation helps Government works to carry out certain activities where the federation is made up of smaller associations so that you can
participate in various developmental activities including the Arts.
Overall, Fine Arts in collaboration with the federation has helped to promote the Arts outside the Nation due to the presence of various Arts stakeholders including painters, weavers, sculptors this is due to being organized and invited to various outdoor concerts and being able to be recognized by the Fine Arts due to their products
