The climate crisis is not only environmental, it is also a cultural one. Rising temperatures are threatening heritage, disrupting traditions and fraying the social fabric of communities worldwide. At the same time, culture – from cultural heritage to the creative sector – remains one of the greatest untapped allies in shaping climate solutions, capable of supporting behavioural change, bridging knowledge systems and strengthening social cohesion. Yet culture is still largely absent from climate policy, planning and finance.
