Experts have identified deficiencies in data collection as a significant obstacle to accurately measuring the impact and importance of the cultural and creative industries (CCI) on Caribbean economies. The role of such industries in driving sustainable development and resilience in the region was emphasized by Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) officials during the recent seminar “Imagineering: Using Creative Industry Research to Devise Development Strategies” in June, 2024.
