Burundi refugees use music to promote peace as their war-ravaged country descends into civil conflict

Kidum escaped from Burundi to Tanzania and then onto Kenya.

He decided to fight through his music — something he could not do in his country because it was too risky and he feared his voice would be muffled by the sound of guns which constantly ring out in Bujumbura, the country's capital.
