Networks: Transnational arts projects

Description

Networking is about organisations and individuals joining forces and/or building relationships with other organisations and individuals to share knowledge, ‘products’ and experiences and to learn from each other with a common goal in mind [adapted from Networking for learning, ICCO, April 2004].  There are many networks operating in the arts and cultural field.  Since 2006, IFACCA has been part of a working group exploring the nature of culture networks and their contribution to transnational art-making and exchange.  Some networks are listed here and intergovernmental networks are listed here. We are gathering resources about how networking can be used by organisations and government agencies to support artistic creativity, cultural diversity and the exchange of artistic ideas. We welcome any contributions.
