Developing Progression Routes for Young South Asian (Kathak and Bharatanatyam) Dancers
The Centre for Advanced Training in South Asian and Contemporary Dance (CAT) was recently resourced by the Government’s Department for Children Schools and Families Music and Dance Scheme to commission research into the development of progression routes for young Kathak and Bharatanatyam dancers. We were pleased to appoint Dr Vena Ramphal and Olu Alake to undertake this work which was completed in June 2010 after the provision of an executive summary, full report (both downloadable below) and dissemination event.
