The cultural dimensions of the fight against poverty and social exclusion: A European perspective
In the framework of the preparations for the EU Belgian Presidency conference on culture and social inclusion, Culture Action Europe drafted a short position paper on the European perspective on the subject.
Poverty and social exclusion are often evoked in connection to realities lived outside of the European Union, but they are more than relevant within our borders too. Different policy initiatives intended to directly address, at European level, this central societal challenge have increasingly seen the light in the last 10 years.
