The Cultural Sector Today: Opportunities, challenges and answers
Colombia’s Ministry of Culture published the findings of the International Seminar, El Sector Cultural Hoy (The Culture Sector Today). This seminar, aimed at creating a space for discussion, created a road map to guide policy makers’ decisions. To interpret culture as an answer to social crisis, to acknowledge cultural diversity, to interpret the concepts of economy and culture, to reaffirm collective identities, to integrate societies through cultural links… were key subjects of this seminar.
