Impacts 08 reports and seminars section expanded
Full details of the Impacts 08 Programme can be found in the recently expanded About section of the Impacts08 website at www.impacts08.net, including a full list of current projects. The latest additions are as follows:
- Impacts 08 Benchmark Indicators
This is the latest version of the report we first published in 2007 to accompany our Baseline Report. This new version contains much richer data than was available last year, including comprehensive figures for 2007 and some early indications from 2008.
- Local Area Studies – Baseline and 2007 Results
With the help of Icarus Icon, in 2007 we embarked on a series of local area studies to look at the experiences and opinions of residents from a diverse selection of Liverpool neighbourhoods at different stages of Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture programme. This first report provides a baseline and 2007 results, and we will shortly be publishing a complementary document that profiles in detail each of the four neighbourhoods. Phase II of this project, documenting 2008 responses, has also now been completed and will be reported on next year. In fact, we are now about to embark on our third and final phase of this project to collect 2009 responses...
- Volunteering for Culture: Exploring the Impact of being an 08 Volunteer
The 08 Volunteer programme was set up in 2005 to help support the delivery of Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture Programme, and we have been tracking the impact of the volunteers’ involvement in this process. This report presents findings from Phase I, which was conducted just before the start of 2008, and we are about to embark on Phase II when volunteers will reflect on their experiences once the year is over.
