A summary of the arts Council's 2006/07 activities, including:

its new 5 year strategy, released in February 2007, Creative Connections, which provides the vision and the framework for the development of the arts in Northern Ireland over the next five-year period, 2007-2012. The strategy is intended to provide a focus for direction to the whole arts community in order to maximise on limited resources.
preparation by the Council of a compelling, evidence-based case for additional Government commitment to the arts in Northern Ireland under its 2007/08 Comprehensive Spending Review.
