Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts
The original Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts program was founded in New York City in 1969 to provide free legal assistance to artists and arts organizations who otherwise could not afford it, to provide education about art-law related matters, and to act as a legal voice for artists and the arts. Today there is a loose network of "volunteer lawyers for the arts" programs throughout the United States and several more worldwide. The web page linked to below is a listing of contact information for VLA programs nationwide.
