A New Era - Orchestras Review Report 2005
Australian Minister for the Arts and Sport, Senator the Hon. Rod Kemp, has launched the report of a review of Australian symphony and pit orchestras, commissioned by the Federal Government in May, 2004. A New Era - Orchestras Review Report 2005 makes 20 recommendations to improve the sustainability of Australia's professional orchestral sector, and includes chapters that address: responsible governance; realistic financing; viable employment arrangements; sustainable structures; and implementation.
