Broadcast in Colour

'Broadcast in Colour: Cultural Diversity and Television Programming in four countries' is a report commissioned by the Australian Film Commission, the Creative Industries Research and Applications Centre, and Australian Key Centre for Cultural and Media Policy. The report examines the cultural diversity policies and practicies and their impact on television programming in the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia. The study, by Harvey May, looks at the relationship between multicultural history and policy and the developments made in the representation of a culturally diverse population on each nation's television screens.
