Is there a Nordic model for supporting artists, and if there is, how does it work? The book, by Merja Heikkinen and entitled The Nordic Model of Supporting Artists: Public Support for Artists in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, reports the results of a comparative study on public policy toward artists in the Nordic countries.
