Touring and Dissemination of Work Scheme – 2011 (Strand 2)
The Arts Council are delighted to announce a new scheme for supporting the touring and dissemination of work in all art disciplines. The principal purpose of the scheme is to ensure that audiences throughout the country have access to high quality arts experiences.
Strand 2 is the principal scheme for funding touring in 2011 and is designed for medium-term planning.
It is intended that two further strands will be introduced in due course: strand 1 for touring which requires long-term planning and strand 3 for short-term planning which requires a rapid response. In the meantime Strand 2 is the only scheme in operation for touring and dissemination of work in 2011.
The deadline for applications will be 5:30pm on Thursday 30 September 2010. It is expected that applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by the end of November 2010.
