Statement from NEA Chairman Rocco Landesman on Congressional Approval of the NEA's Fiscal Year 2010 Budget of $167.5 Million
"We are thrilled that the House of Representatives and the Senate have approved an increase in NEA funding for 2010 and are particularly grateful to Representatives Norm Dicks and Mike Simpson and Senators Dianne Feinstein and Lamar Alexander for their leadership. We are pleased that the 111th Congress has made a commitment to supporting the work of the Arts Endowment that provides vital support to the arts across the nation."
