Art performances to mark 8th anniversary of Incheon airport
To mark the eighth anniversary of its opening, Korea's international gateway Incheon International Airport is to reward weary travelers artistically.
To express gratitude to its customers, the airport authority is running a two-week long art performance program from Monday (Mar. 23) to Apr. 6 at 4 pm.
Titled as "Incheon Airport Music Surprise," the program is composed of 15 events, including classical music and jazz concerts, which will be held at Millennium Hall, in the center of the first floor of the Passenger Terminal.
Also, traditional art performances will be staged at the newly opened Traditional Korean Culture Center inside the duty free shopping area.
The airport has been internationally recognized for its services, facilities, airport environment and overall customer satisfaction. In April 2008, the airport was named the world's best airport in the Airport Service Quality Awards for the third consecutive year.
