Simon Brault re-appointed Vice-Chair of the Canada Council for the Arts
Simon Brault, Vice-Chair of the Canada Council for the Arts since March 31, 2004, has been re-appointed by the Governor in Council for an additional five years to March 31, 2014.
“This is excellent news for the Canada Council,” said Joseph Rotman, Chair of the Council. “For the past five years, Mr. Brault has brought to the organization his expertise, vision, and an extensive and
deeply-rooted understanding of the Canadian and international art scene. I am pleased that our professional partnership, forged over the past months, will continue. Together, we will continue to stand up for the arts and creativity in Canada. Mr. Brault is an exceptional colleague and I look forward with renewed enthusiasm to our continued collaboration.”
There are currently seven other members of the Canada Council’s Board of Directors, including Barbara Burley, Tom Hill,
Susan Mary (Dyer) Knight, Luc LaRochelle, Jerry Mazerolle,
