Should the Ministry of Culture be abolished? This was the (deliberately provocative) theme of the debate between Christine Albanel and the Communist Senator Jack Ralite, organised on the 13th of June by the newspaper, Libération, at the opening of the forum on culture. This was an opportunity for the Minister to outline why the Ministry is necessary. (Full text available in French)
