National Council on the Arts Convenes for 162nd Meeting
The National Council on the Arts, the advisory body of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), will meet in a public session on Friday, November 2.
In addition to agency updates, votes on funding recommendations from more than 4,090 applications, and guidelines review, there will be two presentations; one on the NEA’s Shakespeare in American Communities initiative and another featuring highlights of the 25th anniversary celebration of the NEA National Heritage Fellowship program.
