Sainsbury's and Arts Council bags
Arts Council England has teamed up with supermarket chain Sainsbury's to produce reusable shopping bags featuring specially commissioned work by artists Michael Craig-Martin, Anya Gallaccio and Paul Morrison. Create to raise awareness and debate about the role the arts play in people’s lives, the bags are the first in the ‘art in your hand’ series of pieces of original art. They also aim to encourage shoppers to think about the contribution they can make to the environment by reducing the number of carrier bags they use. For more information, CLICK HERE
