Australia Council Welcomes New Arts Minister
The Australia Council for the Arts has welcomed the new Arts Minister, Senator George Brandis SC, to the post. “We look forward to working with Senator Brandis to strengthen the Australian arts sector and build community engagement with our world-class artists and arts organizations,†said Council Chairman, James Strong AO. “Senator Brandis is well-known as a strong advocate both through his legal career and his time in parliament.
