Angola prepares for national arts symposium
The Angolan Culture Ministry recently held a seminar in preparations for the third Symposium on National Culture. During the meeting, government officials and cultural and arts representatives, discussed: identity and 'Angolanness', memory, cultural heritage, artistic creation in Angola, and the economic issues facing culture in the country. The symposium will take place in September 2006, and is an open forum on the issues facing the cultural industries in Angola. For more information, CLICK HERE.
