Pakistan restructures culture ministry
The Prime Minister of Pakistan has announced that the Ministry of Culture and Sports will be separated into two ministries as of April 2006. The Ministry of Culture and Sports will be divided into the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Sport. Following the separation, two ministers will be allocated the individual portfolios. Dr. Syiad Ghazi Gulab Jamal will be overseeing the Culture Ministry and Mian Shamim Haider will be overseeing the Sports Ministry. For more information, CLICK HERE and HERE.
