N. Ireland reworks branch
The Arts Council of Northern Ireland recently reworked its Forum for Local Government and the Arts branch. The FLGA is the bridging network between local government and the Arts Council, and has been working with local councils and authorities for over a decade on the development of the arts. A review of the FLGA identified the need for it to stengthen its ties with district councils, and as such it will take a greater role in coordinating and advocating the arts at a local level.
