National Council on the Arts meeting
The American National Council on the Arts, the advisory body for the National Endowment for the Arts, met this week. The meeting involved agency updates, voting on funding recommendations, a guidelines review, as well as a presentation in honour of the 40th anniversary of the agency. Presentations included a look at NEA's support for design, music and opera, as well as plans and the progress of NEA's national initiative, The Big Read. For more information, CLICK HERE.
