UK’s first National Centre for Carnival Arts launched

The National Centre for Carnival Arts was launched recently as £6.2 million was raised to create the Centre. Launched by the Luton Carnival Arts Development Trust, they received funding from Arts Council England, East, the East of England Development Agency, ERDF Objective 2 and Luton Borough Council. more >

Irish Arts Council commits €51 million to arts in 2006
