Welsh Government announces it will support Fellow for Wales

The Welsh Assembly Government has announced that it will be supporting a Fellowship for Wales within the Clore Leadership Programme, pledging £20,000 toward the initiative. Together with twenty-six other potential leaders selected from across the UK and beyond, the Fellow for Wales will be a developing individual working within the sector who intends to develop their career as a cultural leader in Wales. Supported by funding from the Welsh Assembly Government, Arts Council Wales and the Clore Duffield Foundation, the Fellow for Wales will: - participate in two intensive residential leadership courses; - receive professional development through mentoring, tuition and group learning; - undertake an in-depth research project and; - have experience of managing a high level project. Arts Council CEO, Peter Tyndall, said: “The Arts Council of Wales is delighted to be supporting a Fellowship for Wales...The Clore Fellowship is a great opportunity to develop future cultural leaders for Wales’s vibrant and active cultural sector.
