New prize for French langauge
The first annual Raymond-Devos prize for French language, created by French Culture Minister Jean-Jacques Aillagon, has been won by Algerian actor, Fellag. Minister Aillagon said that the Raymond-Devos prize was established to celebrate an author, poet or songwriter who had captured the French language sufficiently so as ‘to rejoice and share through words a moment of excellence and delight.’ Accepting the prize, Fellag said: ‘French is a language of peace… I accept the modern values that brought me French.’ For more information in French, CLICK HERE.
