Three funding schemes re-open in Northern Ireland

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland recently announced the immediate re-opening of three lottery programmes that were suspended last year. The Access, New Work and Audience Development schemes are open for application, following an increase in the volume of applications and a pending review. The Access programme aims to provide new opportunities and promotes access to the arts through community arts development projects, while the New Work scheme is designed to encourage the incorporation of education or community access programmes into new work commissions. Meanwhile, the Audience Development initiative offers up to £100,000 per year for organisations wishing to identify and develop their audiences.
