NCCA writers prize announced

The Philippines National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) has called on Filipino writers to enter the 2003 NCCA Writers Prize. The prize is a regular grant awarded to five writers in the genres of novel, essay, short story, poetry and translation. The prize aims to encourage the development of Philippine literature.
