Arts Council England launches local government arts scheme
Arts Council England launched its new Local government and the arts partnership scheme at the Local Government Association cultural conference recently. The scheme is aimed at developing the relationship between local government and the council, so as to better support the arts in England. Four key themes will be explored as part of the partnership scheme, and form the basis of the priorities set out in the report. These are the creative economy, healthy communities, vital neighbourhoods and engaging young people.
