How to publish a book - Hong Kong style
The secrets of successful book publishing will be discussed at an upcoming Hong Kong Arts Development Council lecture, entitled 'How to Publish a Book.' Key speaker at the lecture will by Yip Hoi-sheung, Chief Editor of Arcadia Press Limited, and author of Introduction to Publishing and Printing. Conducted in Cantonese, the talk will cover a range of aspects related to the publishing industry. These will include publishing procedures, printing preparation, printing firm liaison, circulation, wholesale and other distribution channels. The lecture will be held on January 15 at the Hong Kong Arts Development Council Administration Office, and interested parties need to reserve their seat prior to January 8.
