Manager/Executive (Infrastructure Planning & Development)
You will be involved in the management of building development projects for NAC arts spaces. You will conduct project feasibility study, prepare project briefs and budget approval papers. You will lead in the selection and appointment of project consultants and contractors, coordinate and monitor their work progress, while ensuring full compliance with government procurement and contractual procedures. You will be expected to identify potential construction related issues or contractual disputes and effect appropriate solutions. You will manage the project to meet the time, cost and quality objectives. You are also required to undertake additional duties including ad-hoc upgrading and repair of existing arts spaces.
Requirements:
• Degree in Construction Management, Building, Engineering, Architectural Studies or equivalent
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience. Candidates with more than 3 years of relevant work experience will be considered for Project Manager position
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills
• Good writing and communication skills
• Conversant with local building codes, regulations and industry best practices
• Familiar with government procurement process and procedure
• Conversant in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
• Public sector experience preferred
• Experience in A&A for old buildings / building conservation projects and some experience in property maintenance will be advantageous
