Senior Programme Adviser – Pacific Arts (Wellington or Auckland)
As a member of the Arts Development Team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering sector wide, pan art form and art form development programmes and initiatives, including funding progammes. This includes substantial support and advisory functions. This is a national role, with Pacific Arts stakeholders across New Zealand. You will take overall responsibility for developing and managing specific Pacific Arts initiatives, schemes and programmes. To succeed in this role you must have:
extensive knowledge of Pasifika arts and Pasifika communities in New Zealand
excellent skills in written English and communication
an ability to manage and evaluate programmes
project management skills
proven stakeholder relationship skills
strategic skills
leadership ability
a commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
