Chief Executive, Jacksons Lane
As a venue for cutting edge visual theatre and new circus Jacksons Lane has an exciting programme of work planned in addition to a wide variety of participatory activities. We are fundraising for an extensive capital redevelopment project and want to build on our successes over the past 30 years as an arts venue.
As Chief Executive you will lead us to further success, providing the strategic direction needed to achieve our goals. A manager with relevant sector experience you will excel in developing key partnerships, attracting funding and working inclusively with a diverse community. Ideally you will have experience of running an arts venue and fundraising for a capital project.
Working closely with the Board of Directors and the Artistic Director you will implement the business plan, lead the staff team and help to ensure our long–term viability through the efficient and effective management of the company.
You will have excellent financial and business acumen and a track record of working with creative people. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a must as you will advocate and represent Jacksons Lane locally, regionally and nationally.
You need to be dedicated, passionate, ambitious for the company and very committed. In return we can offer you a challenging and rewarding role supported by a professional team and an active and engaged Board.
