Creative Scotland Seeks Directors of Creative Development
As a Director of Creative Development you will provide dynamic and professional leadership, inspiration and vision to Creative Scotland, the new national agency for the promotion and development of the arts film, media and the creative industries in Scotland.
These three senior management posts will have collective responsibility for developing strategy and policy and establishing a range of partnerships and projects to drive forward the development and growth of the sector. The posts will have collective responsibility for the development of artforms, policy and crosscutting issues; working across a mix of specialisms, they will act as an ambassador for the ambitions and profile of Creative Scotland at a local, national and international level.
Successful applicants will have energy, ideas, good management and partnership skills and a track record at a senior level in the cultural sector. Self-motivation and positive outlook will reflect your experience of operating at a senior leadership level; your skills will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary and excellent conditions to attract the best.
Closing date for applications is 28 April, 2010 and interviews will take place on 6 May, 2010.
