Salary £35,430 - £38,042 (pro-rata)
The National Dance Teachers Association (NDTA), recognised as the national voice for dance in schools, is seeking to appoint a dynamic and visionary Director to take overall responsibility for our programmes and provide strategic leadership to the organisation at an exciting stage of its development.
The successful applicant will be a pro-active and highly experienced dance/arts manager or teacher in a school at a senior level with:
•Passion, enthusiasm and commitment to dance for children and young people
•Strong understanding of the dance/arts sector
•The ability to lead, advocate and represent the NDTA at a national level
NDTA is based at offices in Lichfield but we are open to discuss flexible working arrangements. The post also involves some travel to meetings and events in London and other parts of the UK.
NDTA works to ensure that all young people in the UK have equal access to a high quality dance education. It is a membership organisation made up of teachers, dancers, lecturers and other dance and education professionals and organisations from across the UK and all over the world.
NDTA is a limited company and registered charity led by a voluntary board who are elected by the membership. It also has a network of voluntary regional representatives who support our members in their area. Further information on NDTA and our activities is available at www.ndta.org.uk
